Some questions we get…

1. Why not the Epilepsy Foundation?  As an EF and EF NorCal board member for a total of 16 years, we reached out there as well.  With a new board and many new in management, I did not receive one reply to multiple general and specific emails.  CURE moved quickly and cooperatively, so they benefit.  We want EF to excel, but as with many in this group, the cause comes first.

2. Why is Taylor hosting this?  She has been proactive for the cause through the PAWS group and as a junior doubling in Neuroscience and Psychology at Miami U. before grad. school.  She created this event, and with her grades, is now considering summer internships.  I’m obviously a very thankful father, but thanks to several people here who inspired her.  For example, Stanford’s Dr. John Barry, on the EF board with me, had her speak with me the last 3 years in the annual lecture to medical grad. students there.

3. Andrew, what are you up to?  For my many contacts here, this is about the big event.  I’m working to keep working now.  To learn more about tech and healthcare, just ask.

4. What about the rules for medical professionals promoting?  A % of you are there.  Just spread the word as you can as this will educate, entertain and boost hope.  Then attend!  Many of you inspire others, and now that spreads.
